Cost: $6/person or $10/couple
Come ready to kick-up-your-heels and swing your partner to the acclaimed brass band, the 7th Infantry Regimental Band, while learning the Two-Step from some of Salt Lake’s best dance masters, the Old Glory Dancers. In addition to the Grande March, poetry readings and learning dance steps, there will also be a variety of historical games and activities to delight and entertain the whole family!

NGS Family History Conference 2010
The National Genealogical Society is holding their annual convention at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake on April 28-May 1. Thousands are anticipated to attend the 3 day convention.
If you’re curious to find out more about your pioneer ancestors or your Utah connections, the conventions has you covered. There are programs and lectures to help answer every question. The convention will be massive and offers something for everyone.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is using the convention to announce it’s making available another 300 million names through it’s FamilySearch web site. Soon people will be able to read microfilm of some of the most obscure resources.
Expect to also see what business have to offer relating to family history. You can find cd’s, books even family history art.
Our chapter will be represented at the convention on Sat. May 1st. If you attend, be sure to drop by and say hello.
