How can we appreciate the truly unique characteristics of this valley and its history? Join with us as we reflect back on the unique history of our beautiful valley.
Mayor Phillips will be presenting a summary of where we are as a city, where we hope to be as well as share with us some of the challenges that face our valley.

Ralph Montgomery
We invite you to look to the future just as so many of the pioneers did when they set-off across the plains. What can we learn from their ability to establish and work towards goals? How can we put our own lives in order to take better advantage of the time we have? Let us use this month as an opportunity to remember and be inspired by the examples set by the pioneers.
The Daughters of Utah Pioneers have invited Ralph Montogomery, a local author, to enlighten us this month. He will be speaking on the history of Heber Valley and sharing stories about some of its earliest settlers.

Part of the mission statement of the Sons of Utah Pioneers is to “Preserve the memory and heritage of the early pioneers…” In order to properly preserve ones heritage, one must pass on that heritage through reenacting the life of the one being preserved in an active and engaging way. We will use this month to enjoy a unique opportunity to do exactly that.
Join us as we embark on our first trek of the year!!! We’re headed to Salt Lake City where we’ll be participating in workshops that include skills, trades, and arts from the past focusing especially on pioneer times and military life of the West.
